About the Author
Abi Ardianda wrote a debut novel titled ‘Kelab dalam Swalayan’, (Club in the Supermarket), a psychological thriller named one of the top five Indonesian books by The Jakarta Post in 2021. The novel also won the Best First Novel and Best Psychological Thriller awards from the Scarlet Pen Awards in 2022. Her second novel, ‘Laila Tak Pulang’ (Laila Doesn't Come Home), was a finalist for the Ayu Utami Literary Prize for Beginners in 2023. The novel also received awards from the Scarlet Pen Awards in 2024 for Best Novel and Best Mystery Novel and was featured in discussions at the Makassar International Writers Festival in 2024. In the same year, she was also invited to be one of the speakers at the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival.
